Warm-up games around Queensland proposed in Redcliff,  Redlands & Brisbane    

Depart New Zealand Monday 2nd September, returning Monday 9th  September 2024

Day 1 Monday 2nd September   

Arrival in the Brisbane

Players Wellington and flying through  Auckland, and we have the same flights ex Auckland

8.30 am Auckland and Christchurch players arrive in Brisbane – check through customs, pick up bags, make any cell phone arrangements, transfer to our Andy Rentals Bus, and then to accommodation.  A Have a swim/ help with Grocery delivery Check-in, pack Groceries, maybe a swim

11.00 am Wellington players land in Brisbane, make their way through customs, arrange any cellphone needs, and Craig & Diane will pick you up on the bus. Change into training gear

1.00 pm Lunch around the pool

2.00 pm Depart for training Redcliffe Leagues Softball Association 80 Boardman Road, Kippa-Ring, Queensland  

7.00 pm White Board Session

Day 2 Tuesday 3rd September

AM Training Run

Travel to Brisbane Downey Park  7 pm 10 innings game

Day 3 Wednesday 4th September

9.30 am Depart for Training Run

12.00 pm Back to accommodation Lunch and swim in the accommodation pool 

1.00 pm Afternoon visit to Westfields Chermside 7 minutes away It is the second largest regional shopping centre in Australia by number of stores, behind Chadstone Shopping Centre

Day 8 Monday 9th September Travel home

The cost is $3750 ex Auckland, Wellington, and Christchurch. It includes the uniform, warmup jacket, hoodie, cap, training gear, and softball bag. To reduce costs, take advantage of the ISA training short sponsorships.

Softball Macarthur, Rotary Cowpasture Reserve, Argyle St, Camden. New South Wales Softball Association are running this development event in conjunction with Macarthur Softball Association. ISA New Zealand have a long Association with Softball Macarthur

ITINERARY – Note all meals are provided. Transport will be by BUS

Day 1- Early Tuesday 17th September

Early morning flight ex Auckland/Wellington/Christchurch to Sydney (NOTE all pricing will be based on flights ex Auckland/Wellington & Christchurch )

Morning & afternoon skills camp - lunch at park Evening game. Training is 10 minutes from the accommodation. – Stanhope, Cumberland Softball Association

Day 2 – Wednesday Training run, am/ pm Back for evening games – Georges River Softball Association

Day 3 - Thursday Training Run/ swim, Lunch at Accommodation

Depart early for Warrick Farm - 2 x games – Jacqui Osmond Reserve / Softball Centre Access Road from Station Street. Hume Highway. Hume Highway.

Day 4 - Friday

Morning Training and TOURNAMENT starts in the Evening.

Day 5 – Saturday TOURNAMENT

Day 6 – Sunday TOURNAMENT

Day 7 Monday 23rd September        Depart back to New Zealand

Under 15 Boys & GIRLS - SEPT/OCT 2024- 10 days

New South Wales Softball Association are hosting their NSW Club Championship BOYS & GIRLS JUNIOR SOFTBALL in 2024. It will be re-branded from the Blue Blaze to the NSW Club Championship. The tournament is at Softball Headquarters at the Blacktown International Sportspark, Eastern Road, Rooty Hill, Western Sydney. Departing New Zealand Saturday 28th September

New South Wales Softball Junior CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP Tournament

Date: Saturday 28th September to Monday 10 th October

Tournament: Tuesday, October 1 – Friday, October 4

Location: Warm-up games and training in and around Western Sydney with Tournament at Blacktown

Team Manager: Diane Waterhouse

Head Coaches: Michelle Kingi former NZ Black Sox pitcher and Provincial Coach and Chris Telfer former Junior Black Sox and Assistant Coach of the U15 DSOX Girls in Japan last year and numerous Provincial coaching roles

Cost: $3650pp

Morning R & R around pool – duty boys to Return gear to Blacktown Olympic Stadium Storage. Early dinner for trip to Rugby League final

 Day 10 Monday 7th October

Travel home.

Various entertainment will be offered. The outlined itinerary is subject to change based on the softball program and timings. We have previously included visits to markets, downtown Sydney, Luna Park, Sydney Opera House, League Games, Sydney Harbour Bridge and tunnel, Movies, Outlet shops, Blacktown shopping complex, and specialised softball shops. Any entertainment costs are covered by the tour fee.

Accommodation, breakfast, lunch, and dinner are included in the costs - this excludes meals on the flights and lunch on the last day

UNDER 19 - GIRLS - INTERNATIONAL FRIENDSHIP Series SEPT/OCTOBER 2024- 8 days

The Friendship Series was the first-ever Tournament ISA New Zealand attended back in 2008. It was originally organised by Softball Australia. It is now run by Softball New South Wales. 2023 saw six teams enter from the United States. This was a real challenge for the girls. The age bracket has been extended for our entry and it is now U19 as of 31st December 2024

The Brisbane group Craig will meet at domestic airport

International Diane will pick you up in the International departure are, once they collect their bags to pick up the Bus and trailer. The pick up area is on the terminal side before you get to the terminal

11.15 am  Arrive at Accommodation, check into unit, put Groceries away and get into training gear

Warm-up Game at Softball Macarthur Softball Association grounds, Cowpasture Reserve, Argyle St Camden

13th July Saturday

We are up early for warm-up games, Manly Warringah Softball Association - Abbott Rd North Curl Curl on Diamond. Manly is located Northern Beaches of Sydney take swimwear depending on the climate we may do a beach visit after the game

Maybe late training or R&R around the pool

14th July Sunday

Training run and warm-up games at Southern Districts Softball Association

Jackson Jacqui Osmond Softball Centre, Liverpool, NSW, Australia, New South Wales – Warrick Farm

BBQ at Park – back to accommodation for a swim and late Dinner

15th July Monday
